A Chicago man has been arrested after an attempted armed robbery at an AT&T store in New Lenox, where he allegedly held an employee at gunpoint. According to police, the incident occurred when two masked men entered the store, demanding access to the safe. When the safe failed to open quickly due to security features, one of the suspects struck the employee in the head with a firearm, resulting in minor injuries.
