A 19-year-old man, Eduardo Carmona, has been arrested and faces multiple felony charges related to a series of armed robberies across several Chicago neighborhoods. The Chicago Police Department’s Robbery Task Force linked him to at least five incidents, with notable actions occurring in Jefferson Park and Bucktown, culminating in an arrest following a robbery in Albany Park.
During his arrest, police recovered a firearm equipped with a laser sight and an extended magazine, as well as cash believed to be stolen from the recent crimes. Law enforcement officials indicate that Carmona may also be connected to a robbery in a nearby suburb, highlighting the ongoing efforts of authorities to address rising crime rates in the city.
