This operation, which took place on November 14, highlights troubling instances of identity fraud that could pose significant security risks.
Alongside these two suspects, three other Chinese nationals were detained for working illegally in the Philippines, leading to wider concerns about the misuse of Philippine citizenship documents. Authorities stress that allowing non-citizens to acquire weapons under false identities poses a clear threat to national security, prompting calls for more stringent enforcement of immigration laws.
