Newly released security footage captures Annunciation Church shooter Robin Westman browsing firearms at Frontiersman Sports just days before his rampage that resulted in the deaths of two children and injuries to more than a dozen others. The footage, which shows Westman engaged in jovial conversations with shop employees while inspecting handguns and rifles, raises questions about the warning signs missed prior to the tragic event.
During his 40 minutes in the store, Westman appeared friendly and showed no alarming behavior, according to the shop’s owner, Kory Krause. Although Westman did not purchase any weapons used in the church attack, the chilling footage highlights the complex challenges surrounding gun sales and the perceived normalcy of his visit just before he unleashed violence during a back-to-school Mass.
