Clayton Police have arrested 35-year-old Seth James Richardson, linking him to two armed robberies that occurred in late 2024. He is charged with robbing a Walgreens pharmacy and a Wells Fargo bank, and his arrest followed a failed robbery attempt that triggered a police chase.
During a search of Richardson’s residence, investigators uncovered several firearms and disguises used in previous crimes. Police Chief Greg Tart confirmed that Richardson is also facing charges from Raleigh and Rocky Mount authorities for additional robberies, making this case a significant focus for local law enforcement.
