Chicago police are urging caution following a series of armed robberies connected to Facebook Marketplace listings in Logan Square. Over a span of six weeks, at least five incidents have occurred, where suspects arranged to meet victims under the pretense of purchasing items, only to brandish a firearm and flee with the goods.
The robberies primarily took place along the 2000 blocks of North Kedzie and Sawyer Streets, with the latest occurring on August 22, 2025. Authorities have confirmed that the suspects use a Glock semi-automatic weapon and, in some instances, have pushed victims during the encounters. As police continue their investigation, no suspects are currently in custody.
