Crowley Police are currently investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a juvenile early Sunday morning. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of East 13th Street and North Avenue J around 5 a.m. after receiving reports of a body in the roadway; upon arrival, they discovered the victim’s body nearby along with shell casings, indicating multiple gunshots were fired.

The incident has shocked the local community, prompting Chief Troy Hebert to urge anyone with information to contact the police department at 337-783-1234. The victim’s age has not yet been confirmed, and police are actively working to gather more details as the investigation continues.
