Connecticut State Police are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a 7-Eleven gas station in East Haddam early Tuesday morning. At approximately 1 a.m., a male suspect threatened a clerk with a fixed-blade knife measuring about 10 inches while demanding cash and fled the scene with cigarettes valued at over $100.
Authorities describe the suspect as a fair-skinned male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a heavy build, and speaking with a Hispanic dialect.
