D.C. Man Gets Seven Years for 7-Eleven Armed Robberies

Kevon Holston, a 27-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., receives a seven-year prison sentence for armed robberies at two Northwest 7-Eleven stores. The sentencing, delivered by Superior Court Judge Robert Salerno, also includes three years of supervised release after Holston pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including armed robbery and firearm possession during a violent crime.

The incidents took place in late 2024, with Holston brandishing a weapon while demanding cash from employees, ultimately stealing $205. The first robbery on November 27 resulted in a theft of $200, while the second attempt on December 28 yielded only $5 after the employee struggled to access the register. This case highlights the serious implications of armed crime and the swift response of law enforcement in bringing Holston to justice.
