A Vermilion County jury finds William Coleman guilty of multiple firearm-related felonies, including unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. The conviction follows an incident at a Danville bar, where security footage captured Coleman entering a women’s restroom before a handgun linked to him was discovered.

A witness testified that Coleman instructed her to misrepresent facts about his case, an allegation corroborated by security footage. Sentencing for Coleman’s firearm charges and a status hearing on the tampering case are set for December 18, 2025.
