Denver Shooting Case Remains Unsolved After Five Years

The investigation into the fatal shooting of Angel De La Cruz in Denver remains open five years later as authorities continue to seek leads. De La Cruz, a 27-year-old man, was shot early in the morning on June 20, 2020, near the southbound off-ramp of Interstate 25 at 20th Street, and succumbed to his injuries despite paramedic efforts to save him at the hospital.

As the Denver Police Department works to bring closure to De La Cruz’s family, they encourage anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Tipsters can report anonymously and may qualify for a reward of up to $2,000, a significant incentive in the ongoing search for justice in this cold case.
