San Diego County deputies arrested a man during a Tuesday traffic stop in Fallbrook after discovering a loaded handgun in his vehicle along with illegal narcotics. The incident unfolded at approximately 2:00 p.m. when deputies from the Crime Suppression Team initiated the stop, prompting two passengers to flee the scene on foot, while the driver, identified as 44-year-old Michael Robledo, remained in custody.
In addition to the firearm, authorities also uncovered drug paraphernalia and open alcohol containers inside the car. Robledo, a convicted felon, now faces multiple charges relating to firearm possession and drug offenses, having been booked into the Vista Detention Facility. The search for the fleeing passengers continues as law enforcement seeks to bring them to justice.
