Boston police have arrested 60-year-old Sylvester Davis in connection with the armed robbery of a Quincy Street variety store. This arrest follows a detailed investigation launched after the store was robbed on May 19, during which a male suspect brandished a firearm and stole cash from the register, according to police reports.
After reviewing surveillance footage, detectives tracked Davis to a nearby apartment where they executed an arrest warrant. In a surprising turn, officers discovered a loaded 9mm ghost gun and additional ammunition inside the apartment. Davis faces serious charges, including masked armed robbery and carrying a firearm without a license, while another man, Keon Simpson, was arrested on a separate warrant. Both individuals are awaiting arraignment in Dorchester District Court.
