Dyersburg Robbery Suspects Receive Federal Sentences

Three suspects involved in a series of armed robberies in Dyersburg and Newbern during August and September 2023 are now serving federal prison sentences. Martavious Brown, Narreus Jackson, and Timothy Capps were apprehended after targeting local businesses, with Brown’s robberies alone causing losses of over $1,500 to victims.

All three men have received lengthy sentences for their crimes, emphasizing a collaborative law enforcement initiative aimed at tackling violent crime in the community. District Attorney Danny Goodman highlighted the successful partnership between local police and federal authorities to secure these convictions, stating that their efforts aim to keep dangerous criminals off the streets.
