A man in East Greenbush, New York, is sentenced to 14 years in state prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges related to possessing a loaded assault weapon. Kenneth Phelan’s conviction comes after police discovered him with an unserialized AR-style rifle, a high-capacity magazine, and military-grade ammunition during a confrontation over unauthorized target shooting on private property.
