East Providence Man Sentenced for 3-D Printed Ghost Guns

Sean Jobin, a 34-year-old from East Providence, is sentenced to four years in prison for utilizing a high-level 3-D printing operation to produce ghost guns. This sentence follows his no-contest plea on weapons charges in January, during which prosecutors dropped multiple drug-related charges against him.

Jobin’s criminal record includes 24 counts of possessing a firearm after a violent crime conviction and 23 counts related to the manufacturing and possession of ghost guns. In addition to his prison time, Judge Maureen B. Keough imposes a six-year suspended sentence and a decade of probation, highlighting the significant legal repercussions tied to the burgeoning issue of gun control and illegal firearms manufacturing in the region.
