Authorities in Eunice, Louisiana, have identified two suspects in an armed robbery that occurred on May 17, issuing felony arrest warrants for 18-year-old Marlon Keith Brown from Alexandria and 19-year-old Douglas Charles Thornton from Baton Rouge. The incident involved the theft of approximately $800 in graduation money, a cell phone, and a driver’s license, during which the suspects allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim but did not discharge it.
The robbery took place around 2:30 a.m. on South Second Street, with the suspects fleeing the scene northward. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. The investigation remains active, and authorities are urging anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts to contact the Eunice Police Department or St. Landry Crime Stoppers for assistance.
