Elliott Police have arrested a 35-year-old man accused of robbing a grocery store at gunpoint after posing as an HVAC maintenance technician. The incident occurred on May 4 around 6:30 a.m., when the suspect demanded access to the store’s safe while brandishing a firearm, fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Using surveillance footage, police identified the suspect’s vehicle and tracked him down the following day, resulting in a swift arrest without incident. He now faces first-degree robbery charges in Snohomish County Jail, though authorities have yet to recover a significant portion of the stolen money.
