Earlier that night, a 35-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries during a shooting on Delaware Street, and a 21-year-old woman was shot while at a bar on Live Oak Street. The incidents contribute to a disturbing trend of escalating gun violence in the area, raising concerns among residents and law enforcement as suspects in these shootings remain at large.
