Fatal Shooting Victim Identified in Little Rock Incident

Little Rock police have identified Jarquezz Meadows, a 24-year-old resident, as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday at an Americas Best Value Inn & Suites on Scott Hamilton Drive. Officers responded to the scene shortly after 9 a.m. and discovered Meadows suffering from life-threatening injuries, leading to his death shortly thereafter.

Police arrested 23-year-old Braylon Gibson later that day, who has since pleaded innocent to a charge of capital murder during his court appearance. As of Thursday, he remains in custody at the Pulaski County jail without bond, raising concerns about safety in the area and prompting discussions on the factors contributing to such violence in local motels.
