Deputies in Osceola County have arrested five men in connection with an armed home invasion and shootout that occurred at an Airbnb rental in Davenport on November 5. Authorities report that a juvenile female victim was forced into the residence at gunpoint by suspects dressed in black and wearing ski masks, leading to an exchange of gunfire and the theft of property.
Upon investigation, deputies discovered numerous bullet casings and damage to the property, including a shattered sliding glass door. Two suspects were apprehended shortly after the incident, identified by the victim, followed by three more arrests in subsequent weeks as detectives advanced their inquiry. The suspects face serious charges, including aggravated assault, armed robbery, and grand theft.
