Buffalo Police have apprehended five individuals, including minors aged 12 to 16, in connection with an armed robbery that took place at Canisius University. The incident occurred on Thursday night when a female student reported being robbed at gunpoint in the Eastwood parking lot; the suspects reportedly stole her keys, phone, and vehicle.
Shortly after the crime, officers spotted the stolen vehicle, leading to a pursuit that ended when the vehicle collided with a patrol car and a pole. Despite the chaotic scene, both the student and a police officer were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. As the investigation continues, Canisius University assures its community that safety protocols were effectively implemented, and the victim is receiving support from campus resources.
