A 33-year-old man from Florence, Sevren Godbolt, is in custody following allegations of kidnapping and threatening a woman with a gun. According to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, Godbolt reportedly held the victim against her will while brandishing a firearm on TV Road, leading to charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The incident is said to have occurred around October 9 or 10, escalating the situation to a serious criminal case. Godbolt remains without bond in the Florence County Detention Center as investigations continue, shedding light on the troubling escalation of violent behavior that authorities are addressing.
