Fontana Man Pleads Guilty to Pharmacy Armed Robberies

Aaron Carter, a 39-year-old man from Fontana, pleads guilty in federal court to his participation in a series of armed pharmacy robberies across Southern California. As part of a crew, Carter and three accomplices targeted pharmacies in Newport Beach, Woodland Hills, Temecula, and Fullerton, stealing cash and narcotics while threatening employees with firearms.

The crew’s crime spree took place in late 2024, with attempts to rob the same stores multiple times. Notably, during an attempted heist at a Woodland Hills pharmacy, employees recognized the thieves and successfully locked the doors to prevent entry. Sentencing for Carter is scheduled for November 20, and he is the last of four defendants to plead guilty in the case as investigations into the violent pharmacy heists continue.
