Troy Police arrested four individuals, including two juveniles, on Friday for allegedly possessing illegal handguns during an active investigation. Officers attempted to stop three of the suspects, who fled but were apprehended after a brief chase, resulting in the recovery of three illegal firearms.
In addition to the firearms, a search conducted at a residence in South Troy uncovered a large capacity magazine. Eighteen-year-old Semaj A. McCrae is charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm and obstruction, while 19-year-old Marquis R. Copeland faces similar charges regarding ammunition devices. Each juvenile has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon and obstruction of government administration.
