Richland County deputies have arrested four individuals in connection with an armed robbery at Columbia Mall that took place on May 12. Authorities report that the victim, who was with his 3-week-old baby during the robbery, was held at gunpoint by suspects Joey Davis, Thomas Lawrence, J’Lon Martin, and Robert Williams.
Investigators revealed that three of the suspects were apprehended shortly after the incident on March 23, where deputies also recovered several firearms. Williams was arrested later on May 27, highlighting a swift response to this serious crime that has raised community concerns about safety in busy public spaces.
