Troy police have arrested four individuals, including a teenager and a young adult, in connection with a firearms investigation that led to the seizure of illegal weapons. On Friday, officers attempted to stop three suspects, who fled but were apprehended with loaded firearms in their possession, heightening concerns about gun violence in the area.
During the investigation, police searched a South Troy residence, discovering a large-capacity magazine and arresting a fourth suspect. Semaj McCrae, 18, and Marquis Copeland, 19, along with two juveniles, face multiple charges, including criminal possession of a weapon. Authorities are urging residents to report any sightings of illegal firearms or drugs in order to enhance community safety.
