The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the shooting death of 41-year-old Reginald Sherard Kendrick, who was discovered unresponsive in a backyard on Ernest Street shortly before 8 p.m. on Sunday. Authorities received a call reporting the shooting at 7:43 p.m., prompting a swift response from deputies who arrived to find Kendrick suffering from a gunshot wound.
Despite the efforts of first responders, Kendrick was pronounced dead at the scene, raising significant concerns in the local community.
