Former U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords, a prominent advocate for gun safety and a survivor of gun violence, will headline the annual Rock the Ride event in Yountville, California, this Saturday. Now in its eighth year, this community-focused initiative raises both funds and awareness for gun violence prevention and features a mix of biking routes, engaging speakers, and a fundraising brunch.
Participants can choose from three biking routes, including a 25-mile ride led by U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson, who co-founded the event following tragic mass shootings in 2018.
