A routine traffic stop in Springfield resulted in the recovery of a loaded ghost gun and the arrest of 24-year-old Bernamaxin Lebron-Sierra. Officers, observing a lane violation near Broad Street, noticed Lebron-Sierra apparently inhaling from a balloon and discovered suspected nitrous oxide containers in his vehicle.
In addition to the firearm, police located crack cocaine, compounding the charges against him. Lebron-Sierra faces multiple offenses, including carrying a firearm without a license and operating under the influence of drugs, highlighting ongoing concerns over illegal firearms and substance abuse in the area.
