GoFundMe Launched for Albany Gun Violence Victim

A GoFundMe campaign has been created to honor Quadair Hoffler, a 21-year-old shot and killed in Albany earlier this month. The fundraiser, which has raised approximately $2,600 towards a $6,000 goal, aims to celebrate Hoffler’s life and establish a memorial to assist other victims of gun violence.

Hoffler, from Rensselaer, was tragically shot in the head on Yates Street, marking Albany’s second homicide of the year. Fundraiser organizers describe him as a kind and intelligent individual with a contagious smile, painting a poignant picture of a life cut short. The community’s support for this cause underscores the ongoing challenges posed by gun violence in the area.
