A Gulfport woman, 34-year-old Jessinya Ezell, has been arrested and charged with armed robbery after a dramatic turn of events led her back to the crime scene. On May 11, 2025, Ezell allegedly displayed a firearm and demanded cash during a robbery at a local business, where she engaged in a physical struggle with an employee before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.
In a twist of fate, Ezell returned to the establishment shortly after the incident to inquire about a cellphone she had dropped during the robbery. Law enforcement officers, still present at the scene, quickly identified her as the suspect and took her into custody. She is currently held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center with a bond set at $100,000, as the investigation continues.
