Zeneta Everhart, whose son was wounded in the racially motivated attack three years prior, expressed her alarm upon discovering her son was on duty that day. Despite reassurances from the store’s management and law enforcement that no customers were specifically targeted, community leaders express concerns about the unsettling nature of incidents occurring at a location associated with past tragedy.
