Gwinnett County police apprehend 19-year-old Samuel Medeiros-Santos after he allegedly pistol-whipped a teenager to steal $500 and a pair of AirPods. This incident is linked to a violent armed robbery that occurred just three days earlier in Duluth, where masked gunmen attacked two brothers visiting a friend, leaving one with bullet holes in his jacket.
During a subsequent police chase, officers utilized a PIT maneuver to capture Medeiros-Santos, who was one of four suspects involved in the robbery spree. While two juvenile accomplices have been arrested, another adult suspect, Maynard Stubbs, remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous, signaling a concerning trend in local crime involving familiar individuals.
