Hamilton Police Seek Man Tied to Multiple Armed Robberies

Hamilton police are actively searching for 19-year-old Marshall Murphy, who is wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies throughout the city. The incidents include a notable robbery at a cannabis store in central Hamilton on June 15, 2025, and two additional robberies at a cannabis store on May 5, 2025, and a Stoney Creek gas station on March 4, 2024. Murphy is described as having a heavy build and several distinctive tattoos, raising concerns about public safety.

As the investigation continues, police have not recovered the firearm reportedly used in one of the offenses and urge the public not to approach Murphy if spotted. Instead, they encourage anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or related crimes to contact Detective Constable Mike Suffoletta or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers. The urgency of this case highlights ongoing efforts to address crime in the community and ensures the safety of residents.
