Following the tragic 2022 Independence Day parade shooting, the group has created a public database categorizing businesses as either “enablers” or “heroes” based on their associations with gun producers like Smith & Wesson and Sig Sauer.
This innovative approach not only aims to inform consumers about their spending power but also seeks to disrupt the business practices that contribute to mass shootings. By publicly naming companies involved with gun manufacturers and praising those that take a stand against them, activists are encouraging community engagement and consumer action as a means to foster change.
