Two suspects involved in an armed robbery in Humboldt Park are arrested after a police chase that stretched into the south suburbs. The incident began when a delivery driver was approached and robbed by the men in the 800 block of North Spaulding Avenue on Monday afternoon, prompting police to take action as the suspects fled in a stolen Infiniti.
During their escape, one of the suspects allegedly fired shots into a nearby residence, though fortunately, no injuries were reported. The pursuit concluded in Matteson, where Illinois State Police apprehended the suspects and recovered two firearms. Charges are pending against the men as the investigation continues.
