Authorities in Bihar’s Nalanda district have dismantled an illegal “mini gun factory” following a police raid that uncovered a cache of arms and ammunition, including a notable “made in USA” pistol. The operation led to the arrest of a young couple, Abhishek Kumar and his wife Sakshi, both in their 30s, who were found in their rented flat along with manufacturing equipment and numerous live cartridges.

The police acted on a tip-off about the illegal activities, highlighting an ongoing concern regarding the rising prevalence of unregulated arms production in the region. A case has been filed against the couple as the investigation continues to uncover the extent of their operation.
