During a narcotics search on June 5, 2025, the Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office uncovers 11 illegal firearms in a locked bathroom while executing a warrant at a residence on Gerhart Road. Jorge Bedolla, 36, faces numerous charges, including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, after officers also find meth and fentanyl at the scene.
Detectives report Bedolla initially refused to provide access to the locked bathroom, claiming the belongings were not his. Upon removing the door’s hinges, deputies discover that many of the firearms were loaded, raising concerns about child safety at the household. Bedolla’s bail has been set at $10,000 under revised conditions following his initial bond hearing.
