A 76-year-old man, Ronald Schmidt, faces first-degree murder charges after allegedly shooting his daughter-in-law, Christine Moyer, during a wedding reception in Schaumburg, Illinois. Moyer was swiftly transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
