Indianapolis police have arrested four individuals for illegally selling alcohol without permits in downtown Indianapolis, uncovering a range of narcotics and firearms in the process. Detectives identified the suspects selling drinks containing tequila and vodka for $10 each from a cooler, leading to the apprehension of 24-year-old Lorrease Ingram, 18-year-old Farries Maxwell, 22-year-old Daronte Tarvin, and 19-year-old Jamar Young.
During the operation, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confiscated four stolen handguns, over 100 grams of marijuana, and various drug-dealing paraphernalia. This initiative is part of the police’s ongoing efforts to enhance safety in downtown areas, according to IMPD Deputy Chief of Investigations Kendale Adams. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will determine the charges moving forward.
