The application period for Kentucky’s fall quota hunts is now open, allowing hunters to secure opportunities for deer, waterfowl, pheasants, and sandhill cranes until September 30, 2025. Through the MyProfile online portal, individuals can participate in drawings for 36 deer quota hunts and various waterfowl locations, all aimed at regulating hunter numbers and enhancing the hunting experience.
To apply, each hunter must pay a minimum fee of $3 and can only hunt if successfully drawn, with non-residents limited to 10 percent of the total quota. Results of the application process will be posted online by October 10, 2025, providing interested hunters with a chance to prepare for the season ahead. For specific hunt dates and regulations, visit the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources’ website.
