Kentucky Sets Dates for Waterfowl Hunting Blind Drawings

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources has announced the schedule for public drawings to select season-long waterfowl hunting blind sites at four wildlife management areas this fall. Hunters can participate in these drawings for locations at Doug Travis, Lake Barkley, Green River Lake, and Barren River Lake WMAs, ensuring a designated spot throughout the season for selected hunters.

Drawings are set to begin on August 23, with specific times for each location, allowing ample preparation for successful hunts. To participate, hunters must be at least 18 years old and meet certain eligibility requirements, including possessing valid hunting permits. The detailed guidelines underscore the commitment to providing organized and sustainable hunting opportunities across Kentucky’s diverse wildlife management areas.
