Knoxville police have arrested 29-year-old Markeius Campbell, a convicted felon, after responding to an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip indicating he was dealing drugs. Officers stopped Campbell’s vehicle and detected the smell of marijuana, leading to the discovery of nearly 25 grams of marijuana and packaging materials associated with drug sales.
Further investigation at Campbell’s residence yielded two handguns, one of which was reported stolen, along with over 330 grams of marijuana. Campbell, previously convicted of aggravated robbery, now faces charges for being a felon in possession of a weapon, theft of a firearm, and possession of schedule VI drugs, highlighting the ongoing community efforts to curb drug-related crime.
