Lacey Man Sentenced for Bias Crime Against Delivery Driver

John Vincentini, a 65-year-old resident of Lacey, NJ, is sentenced to five years in state prison for bias intimidation after confronting an Amazon delivery driver in what he described as a “racist neighborhood.” The incident on September 5, 2022, escalated when Vincentini blocked the driver’s vehicle and threatened to return to his car for a rifle, prompting the driver’s immediate report to police.

In addition to the bias crime, Vincentini pleads guilty to separate charges, including possession of an assault firearm and marijuana distribution, leading to concurrent sentences. The investigation into these charges uncovered about 10 pounds of marijuana and multiple firearms at Vincentini’s home, raising concerns about his criminal activities in the community.
