Lockport Man Caught with Assault Rifles and Drugs

Michael S. Wrzos, a 45-year-old resident of Lockport, was arrested on Thursday following a routine traffic stop that revealed a shocking cache of illegal weapons and drugs. State troopers pulled Wrzos over for having a tinted windshield, only to discover four assault rifles, nine high-capacity magazines, and a silencer readily visible in his vehicle.

In addition to the firearms, authorities seized suspected cocaine and fentanyl during the investigation. Wrzos now faces several serious felony charges, including criminal possession of assault weapons and controlled substances, as he awaits arraignment at Lockport Police Department. The incident underscores ongoing concerns about illegal weapons and drug possession in the community.
