Louisville Revives ’10 p.m.’ PSA Amid Youth Crime Concerns

In response to rising concerns about youth violence, Louisville is reviving its iconic public service announcement, “It’s 10 p.m. Do you know where your children are?” This campaign will air on four local television stations starting December 15, featuring messages from community leaders aimed at fostering parental accountability as incidents of gun-related arrests among minors increase in the city.

Originally popularized in the late 20th century, the PSA seeks to remind parents to stay engaged with their children’s whereabouts at a time when gun-related charges involving minors are on the rise. Louisville leaders emphasize the importance of community responsibility and will feature voices from local officials, advocating for greater awareness among caregivers as the city grapples with public safety challenges.
