Police have apprehended a 27-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on November 27, 2025, at a business on Broadway Avenue. The incident unfolded shortly after 3:00 p.m. when the suspect threatened an employee with a knife and stole cash before fleeing to a nearby establishment, where he committed another theft.
A police service dog successfully tracked the suspect to Gladmer Crescent, resulting in his arrest. The man suffered dog bite injuries during the apprehension and was taken to the hospital for treatment. He now faces charges of robbery and assault with a weapon, highlighting the swift response of law enforcement in this tense situation.
