A man has been arrested in southeast Atlanta after allegedly brandishing a gun at his brother during a domestic disturbance in front of children on Sunday evening. The altercation escalated when 35-year-old Demetrius Gray, asked to leave his brother’s home, became combative and threatened his sibling. Officers were dispatched to the scene around 9:44 PM and discovered the situation had deteriorated, leading Gray to flee into a wooded area where he fired a shot at the police.
During the police search for Gray, investigators recovered a t-shirt concealing a revolver, indicating the seriousness of the situation. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. As the man faces pending charges, this alarming event highlights the risks of domestic disputes, particularly when they occur in front of children.
