Authorities have arrested Alexis Rincon, a resident of East Palo Alto, for allegedly attempting to rob a man at knifepoint outside a Taco Bell in San Carlos. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on May 22 when Rincon approached the victim and demanded his belongings, escalating to brandishing a knife when the victim refused to comply.
Deputies quickly located Rincon just a short distance away from the scene and apprehended him, recovering the weapon in the process. Fortunately, the victim sustained no injuries during the encounter. Rincon now faces serious charges including second-degree robbery and brandishing a deadly weapon, while also being in violation of his probation terms.
